Having left Ayr United Amateurs, Kenny was quickly snapped up by manager Eddie Main, and it has proved an excellent acquisition from day one.
Equally at home in defence or midfield, Paterson has provided some experience and composure to a young side. A player with an eye for goal, his stunning strike against Livingston in September 2008 from fully 40 yards helped Kaisayr to a scrappy victory on the way to the Scottish Title.
The following season, Kenny was a mainstay at the back as Kaisayr became the first team to retain the Scottish League title, weighing in with a few goals and a couple of important "man of the match" winning performances.
After narrowly missing out on a hat-trick of titles in 2010/11, and fewer appearances, Kenny called time on his Kaisayr career with a swansong at Worldnet 2011. It was fitting that he collected the Managers' Player of the Year award from Alan Jess at the end of that season.
