Sherwin joined the club in late 2005 after some time out of the game since leaving Minishant Amateurs. A reliable performer in a variety of positions, most often left back or as a forward, he scored 6 goals in only 17 games, before deciding to move back into amateur football with Ayr United AFC.
A strong, direct player with a rocket of a left foot and eye for goal meant he was missed after his decision to leave.
