James 'J' Kearns proved an excellent addition to the squad when he joined in 2002. He showed his versatility by playing in a number of positions across the defence and in midfield over the two seasons he spent with the club.
A strong, intimidating presence, J played a key role in the double winning season of 2003–2004, before leaving for Ayr Parkhouse at the end of the season.
