'Footey' joined the club shortly after it's inception in October 1999, and quickly became a regular in manager David Neil’s midfield. A box-to-box midfielder, pint sized Footey was never one to shirk a challenge, and his passing and goal-scoring ability made him a major asset for Kaisayr.
At the end of his second season at the club, Martin scored the winning goal against Watford, only to be swamped by the onlooking Luton side. That goal took Kaisayr into their first Worldnet quarter final, before losing to eventual winners Middlesbrough in controversial circumstances.
Martin continued to play semi-regularly for the side over the first three years, and made a return for Worldnet 2004, but unfortunately work committments and injury prevented him from having a much longer Kaisayr career.
