Leon, better known as 'Spud' or 'Stavros' (after an infamous night on the lash in Dundee prior to Kaisayr's record defeat!) was one of a select band of players who played in the inaugural season, remaining with the club until 2002. Usually utilised on the wing or in attack, he also played the odd game in the heart of the defence. Despite his versatility leading to much shuffling of position, Leon managed eight goals for the team - the most memorable being his first in a match against Kicking Squirrels of Kilmarnock.

Spud is also remembered as being a chief instigator in organising a Saturday night trip to Blackpool halfway through the sides first trip to Worldnet in 2000 and having to be substituted in a game away to Airdrie due to alcohol-related blackouts!
