Gordon Brown was a member of the first ever Kaisayr side and played at centre-half in the first game against Kilmarnock at Auchincruive. One of the oldest guys in the team at the time, his experience was vital in helping the younger lads along and he went on to register another thirteen appearances for the side before hanging up his boots towards the end of the first season.
