Alan, known by his Honestpage pseudonym as 'Buky O'Hare' first appeared for Kaisayr as a central defender during the clubs inaugural season in 99/00. It came as a surprise when Alan rejoined the club as a goalkeeper in 2004/2005 after a reshuffle in the playing squad.
His performances, however, were not in question, as he proved himself a reliable goalkeeper with a string of excellent performances, sharing the gloves through the season with Miles McColgan. His greatest Kaisayr performance came in Milan, as he combined with McColgan to shut out an impressive Muratidentro side during a 2–0 victory in March 2005.
A move through to the Edinburgh area towards the end of the season saw Buky leave the club, but he has since returned in a new guise of referee on a number of occasions.
