KaisAYR Goals
Pete Noble
3 mins
Kyle McKay kicked the ball the full length of the park and it took a bounce before Pete gambled in behind the defence and rose above the goalkeeper to head his side into an early lead.

21 mins
A throw-in down the left flank was headed on by Gamble and Drew drove forward towards the touchline. His perfect cut-back found Pete arriving to knock the ball left-footed into the far corner.
Andrew Gamble
33 mins
The "team-goal-of-the-game" started in the Kaisayr right-back area with intricate play between Andy, Dec and Grammy. The latter's driven pass down the line was caught by Tocker and his cut-back was turned home clinically by Gamble.
Graeme Warnock
38 mins
Grammy picked the loose ball up in midfield and pinged it down the left channel to Warney. The winger allowed it to bounce before lobbing it over the advancing 'keeper.
Pete Noble
56 mins
A pass down the left-flank found Gamble on the corner of the box. He cleverly held off a defender and back-heeled the ball across the 18 yard line. Tocker got a wee poke onto it and Pete arrived to drill a right-footed effort throught the 'keepers legs.
Pete Noble
63 mins
More joy for Kaisayr down the left-flank resulted in Pete grabbing his fourth goal. Gamble knocked the ball square across the area and Pete considered playing Steve in before drilling a shot into the far corner from the edge of the penalty box.
Graeme Warnock
70 mins
Andrew Gamble did all of the build-up work down the right and when his pass found Warney arriving in the area, an excellent shot into the corner completed a good days work for the attacking pair.
Fraser Bryden
86 mins
Fuzzy capped the Kaisayr scoring with the strike of the game on his competitive return after long injury troubles. Ahmet's cross could have been controlled and taken in, but the fearless Fuzzy struck it first time from 25 yards and it flew in.

Livi GS (Livingston)   1-8   KaisAYR (Ayr United)
Saturday, 17th October, 2009 Both Leagues
Kaisayr travelled to Livingston for their first league meeting with the IFA league's new-boys, Livi GS.

After only meeting once before in a Scottish Cup tournament, this was going to be an interesting encounter with a relatively unknown quantity. Kaisayr were missing Ian McIntyre and Gareth Samson, as well as manager Barry Duddy. However, on the plus side, young player of the year Declyn Cooper was making his first appereance of the season at centre-half and Fraser Bryden made a return to competitive action after more than a year out through injury.

With Ian and Gareth missing, Declyn and Graeme Morton took their places in the starting elven, whilst Andrew Gamble replaced the unfortunate Stevie Noble up front. This was assistant manager Alan Jess team selection for his first match in charge, and it was one that was to get a good performance and result.

Kaisayr were looking to build on an impressive start to the season and were looking good in the early exchanges. After drawing a blank in Dunfermline last weekend, it wasn't long before the visitors went ahead. A kick-out from the hands of Kyle McKay bounced over the defender and Pete Noble beat the out-rushing keeper to the ball and headed home the first.

Kaisayr were applying all the pressure at this point, but the home side were offered a bizarre chance to get back on level terms. A long GS throw-in was hurled into the box and, after minimal contact between Stuart Bell and the Livingston forward, the referee signalled for a free-kick. When he got closer, he realised it was in the box and changed his mind for the softest of penalties. Justice was served, however, as the Livingston striker screwed the ball wide of McKay's right hand post.

Ayr took this as a warning and moved things up a gear. A Bell freekick into the box saw Pete rise to head across goal and Graeme Warnock to finish with an overhead kick that went in off the post, but the ref judged him to be offside when he clearly wasnt. That was Kaisayr's fifth disallowed goal in four games - we'll be getting paranoid soon!

A move up the left flank with Gamble flicking on to the forward-running Drew Wallace allowed Kaisayr to double their lead. Drew strode into the box and cut back for Pete to score his and Kaisayr's second of the morning.

It wasn't too long before Ayr added another and there was some fantastic interplay in the lead up to a great team goal. Andy Napier threw the ball to Grammy who played it back, Andy then passed it to Dec who slipped it to Grammy, before a lasered ball up the wing found Tocker on the chase. Tocker's (miracle) pace got him to the ball before the defender and he turned back to square to Gamble to hit home the Kaisayr third. The fourth goal really put the game to bed as a contest when Drew won the ball in midfield and passed it to Grammy. His touch in the centre circle allowed him to loft the ball over the defence to pick out Warney, who'd made a great run in from the wing, and he let it bounce then chipped the keeper to add to his tally for the season.

Half-time: Livi GS 0-4 Kaisayr

KaisAyr came out for the second half looking to keep the momentum going, and it certainly did as they added a fifth goal. Some good work by Gamble started the move as he beat his man and cut inside, before placing a pass at the feet of Tocker. He slipped the ball to Pete to drill home right-footed and complete a perfect hat-trick of left-foot, right-foot and header.

Gaffer Jess was quick to ring the changes and got Steve Noble on to replace Tocker on the right. Kaisayr kept turning the screw and skipper Pete added his fourth and Kaisayr's sixth after more good work from Gamble saw him square to Pete to fire the ball his fourth.

The big striker, who picked up the man of the match award to go with the match ball, then made way for his brother Matt to rumble things up further in attack.

KaisAyr were in seventh heaven with twenty minutes remaining as a long kick-out from Kyle showed that the side could mix up the short passing and the direct, long ball game to great success. Gamble was involved again and he held off his man before cleverly flicked the ball through to Warney who raced through to calmly finish for his second. This was the last action of the game for that particular dynamic duo as Gamble, Warney and also Andy left the park to be replaced by Ashton Wright, Fuzzy and young debutant Kieron McIlveen.

Kaisayr were looking for a third clean sheet on the bounce but it was not to be. A momentary switch-off at a corner and a low cross along the by-line spun off Wallace's shin and a mix up between McIlveen and McKay saw the ball run along the line and hit the far post before going tamely in.

A slight disappointment, but the visitors didn't let the heads drop and a superb run down the left flank by Ahmet Sorgucu allowed him cut inside and pass to Fuzzy, who unleashed a fizzing first timer from 25 yards out to grab the goal of the day on his comeback.
