Ian McIntyre joined the Kaisayr ranks towards the end of the 2008/09 season, playing in a couple of bounce games before travelling down with the squad for Worldnet 09.
A former goalkeeper in the senior ranks with Ross County and Inverness Caley Thistle, having spent time in the youth teams at Somerset Park, Ian is now back home and renewing his aquaintance with Ayr United.
Impressive performances at centre-half after being surprisingly converted from midfield followed and he looks sure to be handed a key role as the team look to defend the Scottish league title under Barry Duddy. Ian offers strength, organisation and composure, in addition to a great desire to win.
