Andy Napier's long-ball down the channel found the Diamonds defence in disarray and as Gamble ficked on to Pete, he carried on despite the offside appeals and rounded the goalkeeper to level the scores.
Steve Noble collected the ball on the left of midfield, just inside the Airdrie half and carried it forward before picking out Gamble with a tremendous cross-field pass. The wee hitman took the ball first time and blasted it high past the 'keeper.
