Drew did well to win the ball back in midfield and threaded a classy pass forward that found Gamble through on goal. From the left-hand side, just outside the box, he lifted the ball perfectly over the keeper and into the net. |

A high ball landing in the centre-circle was punted long by Warney and Gamble scampered onto it to head in one-on-one with the keeper. Having won the race to the ball, he cooly lifted it over the goalie and into the unguarded net. |

Warney collected the ball wide in the left corner of the pitch and faced up to his man before whipping a cross into the box. Gamble headed goalwards and the keeper looked to have a hold of it, before letting it slip through for the wee man's hat-trick. |

Kaisayr headed north to play Fir Park Corner of Motherwell in a re-arranged IFA Cup game. After the disappointment of the original game being called off late, the team were raring to go against their closest rivals.
As the game kicked off, Well took the initiative and put the Ayr defence under pressure. Kaisayr didn't seem to be able to get a foot on the ball and play their normal game on the soft pitch. The central defensive pairing of Bell and Kenny were soaking up some heavy pressure and Kyle’s gloves were warmed more than once or twice.
Ayr did have a few breaks up the park but the home defence and keeper looked confident. The warning signs were there for Kaisayr when Motherwell’s striker missed a free header at the back stick and headed wide, but he wasn't to be denied for long. When a cross ball into the box was just out of Kyle's reach, he only succeeded in taking the pace out of the ball for the forward arriving at the back post and he headed home.
This was the boot up the arse that Kaisayr needed and they equalised almost immediately. Martin Tocker surged down the wing and his cross was flicked on by Pete Noble towards the back stick. The winger, Graeme Warnock, did well to control the ball a strike it home from the edge of the six yard box.
Fir Park Corner had been in control of much of the possession but Kaisayr were getting into the game and were threatening more and more. Fitness was beginning to tell on the heavy pitch and Kaisayr showed their superior fitness, grabbing the lead just before half time. Grammy won the ball in the middle of the park and slid a ball through to Drew Wallace. The midfielders superb through ball was met by Gamble as he turned his man and made his way in on goal. He lobbed the out-rushing keeper to give Kaisayr the lead at the interval.
Half-time: Fir Park Corner 1-2 Kaisayr
Kaisayr started the half with the intent to put this game to bed, not that that it would be an easy task with Well being by far the best opposition faced this season. In what was an end to end game, Kaisayr managed to get the crucial third goal to double their lead.
A high ball was shielded by Warney and, when he hooked it up the park, Gamble won the race with the defender and again chipped the keeper for his second of the game.
Kaisayr were looking the more likely to extend the lead by this point and it almost happened with Ian McIntyre on the free kicks. His long kick was met by the head of Pete at the back post and his header across goal was just too high for Steve and scraped the post on the way past.
Kaisayr did add a fourth and Gamble grabbed a well deserved hat-trick with quarter of an hour remaining. Warney collected the ball on the wing and swung a cross in which Gamble met with his head. As the keeper dived to his corner, he took his eye off the ball with Pete flying in at the back post and the ball evaded his grasp and snuck over the line.
By now, Kaisayr were looking certainties to progress but Well weren't over. Only some resolute defending and a world-class point blank save from Kyle McKay stopped the homesters adding to their solitary goal. Kaisayr are through to the last eight, with home tie against West Brom to come at the end of April.
